My Story

My journey in working with autism began when I was studying special education and autism at Okanagan College in British Columbia, Canada. I developed a deep personal commitment to helping individuals navigate the unique challenges they face. This included my own daughter. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to understanding the diverse needs of those on the autism spectrum, from behavioral support to social skills development. With extensive training and hands-on experience, I've had the privilege of working alongside families, schools, and communities, creating tailored strategies that empower individuals to lead more fulfilling, independent lives.

Through my work, I have learned that every person with autism is different, and my approach is always centered around the person, ensuring that support is not just effective but also compassionate and respectful. From managing sensory sensitivities to fostering communication, I'm passionate about making a positive difference and helping individuals with autism unlock their full potential.

Each step in my journey has reinforced my belief that with the right tools, patience, and support, individuals on the autism spectrum can thrive in ways that enrich their lives and the lives of those around them.

I'm so passionate about this work that I will be pursuing a Doctor of Health Sciences in Autism, further deepening my knowledge and ability to make a lasting impact. This continued education reflects my unwavering commitment to staying at the forefront of research and best practices in the field.
